Polar bears of Arctic A deep Look into Their World

Introduction.

Usrsus Maritimus is a scientific name of Polar bear. They are the largest carnivore of the world roaming on lands of Arctic. Their white color like snow and deadly gazes have attrected the Human beings for centuries. Habitat and Areas.

Polar bears are mostly found in Arctic circle, including Canada, Norway, Alaska, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They use to live on ice of to sea. Which is their platform to breed and hunt. Their primary habitat is Arctic ice top, and they are well adopted to the dry, tough, and harsh conditions.

Hunting Skills.

Being carnivores Polar bears are skilled hunters. Their food mainly depends on  ringed seals, bearded seals, fishes and any other thing found in Arctic. Their sense of smell, detecting food, and breathes of seals in holes in ice is marvelous. They also scarvenge from carcasses and in summers consume plants.

Population Status.

The estimated population of polar bears is 20000-31000. They are listed as endangered specie on the IUCN red list. Following are the main threats to their survival,

Global Warming.

Climate change is reducing sea ice, making it difficult for polar bears to survive and hunt.

Migration of Habitat.

When ice melts polar bears have to  swim longer distances which increase loss of energy and risks of drowning.

Illegal Hunting.

Polar bears are being Hunt for their white coat as their habitats are shirking their face off with human is creasing. Polar bears encounter with human mostly result in conflict and harm for both.
